The display flickers a few times in the desktop, and after that, the flickering goes away. So this is mainly a cosmetic thing as the flickering stops after logging in and waiting for a bit. I have attached a video to this bug report showing the whole process from the boot. I use Lenovo Yoga S740 with Intel Core i7-1065G7 and Intel Iris graphics (10th generation). I have not done any customizations to the installation after updating to 20.04 from 19.10 a couple of weeks ago.
