Title:
[Lenovo T430] NetworkManager not setting proper state after suspend

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
This issue is being experienced on a Lenovo T430 laptop running 13.10
with the latest updates. It has been happening since roughly the time
I upgraded to 13.10, but was not happening with 13.03 and the 3.11
  kernel.

After resuming from suspend, many times NetworkManager will not list
any connections, will not connect to wired networks, and will only
show "Network Enabled" unchecked in the drop-down menu.

  NetworkManager Status:

  tcameron@HOSTNAME:~$ nmcli nm status
  RUNNING STATE WIFI-HARDWARE WIFI WWAN-HARDWARE
WWAN
  running asleep enabled enabled enabled
disabled

Using nmcli to set the sleep state to false re-enables networking
  manually.

  tcameron@HOSTNAME:~$ nmcli nm sleep false
  RUNNING STATE WIFI-HARDWARE WIFI WWAN-HARDWARE
WWAN
  running connected enabled enabled enabled
enabled

  tcameron@HOSTNAME:~$ nmcli nm status
  RUNNING STATE WIFI-HARDWARE WIFI WWAN-HARDWARE
WWAN
  running connected enabled enabled enabled
enabled
