It looks like the main problem here is that your kernel audio devices
keep reappearing (and disappearing??):

May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: Applying patch
firmware 'hda-jack-retask.fw'
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: bound 0000:00:02.0
(ops i915_audio_component_bind_ops [i915])
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0: ALC1150: SKU
not ready 0x00000000
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0: autoconfig for
ALC1150: line_outs=3 (0x14/0x15/0x16/0x0/0x0) type:line
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:
speaker_outs=0 (0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0)
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    hp_outs=1
(0x1b/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0)
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    mono:
mono_out=0x0
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:
dig-out=0x11/0x1e
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    inputs:
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:      Front
Mic=0x19
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:      Rear
Mic=0x18
May 18 21:04:31 sidpc kernel: snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:      Line=0x1a

And the fact that i915 is mentioned makes me think it's the HDMI or
DisplayPort monitor confusing the system into reconfiguring audio.
