A bit background on how I figured out those 2 commands. So let's say you
have 6 commands in total:

A command
B command
C command
D command
E command
F command

Start executing commands one by one, from top to bottom (do NOT resort
them). Let's assume your sound starts to work after command E. So you
know that F is not needed.

Now reboot, then do on/off procedure in pavucontrol (as I described in
previous comment) and try in this sequence until you hear a sound (play
something in a background):

E command

if did not work, try this:

D command
E command

if did not work, try this:

C command
D command
E command

and so on.

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Hi,
