Bug description:
I had the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04, maybe a problem in the kernel.
For no reason my wifi connection slowed down. I had less than 1B/s.
WORKAROUND: sudo rmmod iwlwifi
sudo modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable=1
and to apply this after reboot I created /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf and add
in it :
options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1
