Status in linux-restricted-modules package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: The linux-modules-nvidia-440-generic depends on nvidia-kernel- common-440 >= 440.100. This is on Ubuntu 20.04. This package doesn't seem to exist at the moment and hence my nvidia install is broken. dmesg is showing this NVRM: API mismatch: the client has the version 440.64, but NVRM: this kernel module has the version 440.100. Please NVRM: make sure that this kernel module and all NVIDIA driver NVRM: components have the same version. My kernel version is uname -a Linux anon-desktop 5.4.0-39-generic #43-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jun 19 10:28:31 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-restricted-modules/+bug/1885052/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
