Tried that in a Focal VM, got:

The log file only contains:

Trying the zfs packages updated to 0.8.4-1ubuntu11 led to the same result:
Building initial module for 5.9.0-050900daily20201012-generic
configure: error:
*** None of the expected "global page state" interfaces were detected.
*** This may be because your kernel version is newer than what is

        ***
        *** ZFS Version: zfs-0.8.4-1ubuntu11
        *** Compatible Kernels: 2.6.32 - 5.6

Both versions worked with kernel 5.4.0-48. It claims the compatible kernels
range is 2.6.32 - 5.6, but I think this is a red herring, since Groovy kernel
is 5.8, correct?
Thanks,

Guilherme
