Public bug reported:
Im running Ubuntu 20.4 on Raspberry Pi 4 running Geth attempting to sync with
Eth1
during fast sync i incur a critical error
CRIT Failed to store fast sync trie process err="write
/mnt/ssd/ethereum/geth/chaindata/000080.log: read-only file system
when i check the file system i can see the directory and data is there, but
after reboot, the SSD does nto mount and on restart and log in Ubuntu repeats
the following if unattended
Tainted: GCE 5.4.0-1022-raspi #25-Ubuntu
Is this a bug or is my SSD damaged?
Ive tried re-formatting the SSD, remounting and re-starting sync successfully,
but ultimatley end up with the same problem. Please advise
** Affects: linux-raspi (Ubuntu)
