  [Acer Extensa 5220] No wifi after update

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After normal update (apt get upgrade), Wifi is not working any more.
  The faulty package is: linux-image-5.8.0-36-generic

  $ lsb_release -rd
  Description:  Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
  Release:      20.04

  Reverting the kernel during boot, wifi is working again with:

  $ uname -a
  Linux acer 5.4.0-59-generic #65-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 10 12:01:51 UTC 2020 
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

  but no more with:

  $ uname -a
  Linux acer 5.8.0-36-generic #40~20.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 6 10:15:55 UTC 
2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
