Here are some data points for now: 1) Doesn't happen on ubuntu or debian with 3.7 2) Doesn't happen on 13.04 with stock 3.8 kernel 3) Happens on stock kernel for 13.10 4) Happens on 3.13-rc8 5) Specific to Dell HSW HW. Not happening on other OEM HSW HW from what has been reported. Business-Client machines (such as Optiplex, Latitiude, etc) seem to reproduce the issue, but, systems like the XPS 13 with Haswell do not. Some tests are being run on an Optiplex 9020 to try and narrow down what exactly might be wrong.
