Public bug reported: Since I upgraded to 20.04.2 LTS I've had a problem (about once a day) with my screen going black. The computer is not unresponsive, but the only way to wake the screen up is to close and open the laptop lid. External screen is not affected.
I'm on a HP Elitebook 820 notebook. Searched journalctl and dmesg logs but I can't find anything relevant there, so suspecting this has to do with a change of display driver and/or settings in the new version. Please contact me if more info would be helpful. Wish you a great day!
