Title:
Please block application of hirsute linux/bits.h: fix compilation
error with GENMASK for this cycle
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
The following upstream changes in 5.13-rc3 [1] broke Mellanox OFED
compatibility:
https://patches.linaro.org/patch/451093/
Mellanox has confirmed that OFED5.3 installation fails with this patch
and they are working to check older versions. They have asked us to
keep them informed on when this patch set will come into which kernel
series, which we've agreed to do. The intent of this bug is to block
application of the patch set until we get confirmation of Mellanox's
awareness.
