i40e 2.15.9 driver does not show rx_packets when xdp/ebpf is attached

Bug description:
Intel driver for i40e, i40e-2.15.9.tar.gz does not display rx_packets
from ethtool when any xdp/ebpf module is attached to the interface.
This problem is seen even in version 2.10 of the i40e driver. The one
that is packaged with the upstream kernel seems to be fine.
