gnome-shell freezes a few seconds using kernel 5.0.0 - Window manager

Bug description:
When I open the terminal or typing within, gnome sometimes freezes for a few
seconds.
This only happens when I use the kernel 5.0.0 or above. Using 4.15 kernel the
terminal works well.
