Public bug reported:

When the XPS 9575 laptop is upside down the in-built gyroscope rotates
the screen, as correct and expected. However the Audio output is not
rotated/switched.

This means, for instance, when listening to spatially orientated audio
such as in games, i.e. first person shooters, the audio is the wrong way
around. i.e. gunfire sounds like it is coming from the left, when in
fact it is to the right, which leads to disorientation.

A test has been conducted with the laptop the right way up and this has
been compared to the laptop flipped upside down in tent mode, and the
audio was identified to be the wrong way around when in tent mode.

It is believed that the gyroscope must be linked to the audio drivers to
flip the audio output when upside down. Although some software may be
able to work around this issue, rotating the laptop on the fly is not
possible without adjusting such settings.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Incomplete
