I don't think wireless is the problem here. Based on a tip from another thread
I did a live-CD test
using xubuntu-12.10-desktop-i386.iso (kernel Linux xubuntu 3.5.0-17-generic
#28-Ubuntu SMP Tue
Oct 9 19:32:08 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux). Playing fullscreen video
with
Firefox (installed Adobe flash player 11,2,202,341) syslog stays nice and
quiet. I also updated
flash to current configuration but it made no difference. I am adding lspci
from Xubuntu.
When doing rough comparison on system monitors it seems the CPU load is much
less on Xubuntu.
The 2nd core seems to have very little load. Current configuration has much
higher CPU load and
the 2nd core has the same high load as the 1st one.

Is there anything I could search from Xubuntu to see what makes the
difference?
