I had the same issue today (May 5th 2022), and the workaround proposed by Giacomo Tazzari worked just fine.
Strangely, the adapter was working just fine after the Ubuntu 22.04 installation (earlier this week). So maybe some recent update caused the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-firmware in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1967842 Title: Ubuntu 22.04 Beta: linux-firmware iwlwifi-9260-th-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode - Wireless-AC 9260 not working Status in linux-firmware package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hi with the current Ubuntu 22.04 beta my WIFI device Intel Corporation Wireless-AC 9260 is not shown/working.
