The problem persists, there is no suspend. When suspend is invoked, the screen goes blank, the suspend-light comes on and begins blinking, but the fan still works like crazy and it does not wake up, when pressing the on-key. Only a hard-reset works. Hibernate works though, unfortunately there is no menu item in ubuntu because...?
