This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-nvidia-tegra-
igx/5.15.0-1001.1 kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test
the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is
solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-jammy' to 'verification-
done-jammy'. If the problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-
needed-jammy' to 'verification-failed-jammy'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how
to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!

Title:
Initialize linux-nvidia-tegra-igx with patch list from NVIDIA

Status in linux-nvidia-tegra package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  [Impact]
This change reflects the creation and initialization of a new kernel,
linux-nvidia-tegra-igx. This kernel will be initialized with the patches
already in linux-nvidia-tegra, and be maintained as a sibling to
linux-nvidia-tegra. A patch list containing patches required to enable the IGX
platform has been provided by NVIDIA, and these patches have been integrated
into the new kernel.

  [Other Info]
The following patches are contained in the NVIDIA-provided list, but need
backporting to v5.15.

  8681e3663411 drm/simpledrm: Support the XB24/AB24 format
  9abecb1d338c drm/format-helper: Support the XB24 format
9a10c7e6519b drm/simpledrm: Add support for system memory framebuffers
  fa904b4cbc60 drm/simpledrm: Use struct iosys_map consistently

Hence, these will be addressed in a separate change.
