This just started happening to me on Ubuntu 23.04 after updating openssh-client to amd64 1:9.0p1-1ubuntu8.5 for some reason.

In gnome-control-center -> Power I have the following settings: Power Saving: Blank Screen -> 15 minutes ( Selecting Never doesn't change anything.)
