No alsa sound cards on Pi 5

Bug description:
During ISO testing of the final mantic images on the Pi 5, no ALSA
cards are listed under /proc/asound/cards and (predictably) none of
the ALSA utilities are able to output audio. Is this a DT related
issue again? (reminiscent of LP: #1991254)
