Title:
UEFI secureboot nvidia installation fails to install appropriate
driver
Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-550 package in Ubuntu:
New
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Running through this testcase:
https://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/461/builds/312970/testcases/1771/results
Unfortunately, it failed.
With an offline installation, after reboot, the graphics resolution
was way off, very zoomed in initially.
nvidia-smi outputs:
```
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver.
Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
```
Interestingly enough, after another reboot, the resolution was
appropriate.
An nvidia driver *is* installed: nvidia-driver-550
However, perhaps it's not the appropriate driver for the graphics
card.
Logs and other info will be attached in a comment.
