grub2 menu does not include updated kernel

Bug description:
I have two partitions on one hard drive. Ubuntu lucid 64 bit version
is installed in both partitions. I have updated from 2.6.32-25 to
2.6.32-26 in both partitions and the files are in both usr/src
folders. On startup the grub2 menu does not give the option to load
2.6.32-26 in one of the partitions - it is available in the other.
