xen domU don't boot 2.6.39+

Bug description:
2.6.39 boots fine on debian-unstable and gentoo, but on natty and oneiric I
have to use linux-image-2.6.38 because all flavours of linux-image-2.6.39 i
tried (generic, server, virtual and the 3.0rc1 from kernel ppa) just freeze.
Unfortunately I can't provide any helpful error messages and the screenshot I
made isn't particularly interesting either.
