Bug description:
Tested with Kernel 3.2 on Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04 Beta 2 as well as
Kernel 3.3 on 12.04 Beta 2.
/sys/class/backlight/ is empty.
I cannot change the backlight via the gnome-control-center, even though it is
possible to use 'sudo setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b=ff'.
I tested it with the following values for COMMANDLINE_LINUX in the grub
settings:
"acpi_backlight=vendor"
"acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor"
"pcie_aspm=force i915.i915_enable_rc6=1 acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor"
None of these improved the situation.
