The problem seems to be that your kernel (version 6.8.0-52-generic) has
been updated such that the rtl8821CU driver (version 5.4.1) no longer
matches what is required for it to build. Please contact your device's
vendor, Realtek, to see whether they offer a software update for the 6.8
kernel.
