Title:
  Cracking or popping noises

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After updating the kernel from 6.8.0-53 to 6.8.0-54, I hear cracking
or popping noises from the external speakers connected to the
headphone jack on my ThinkPad T480s.

  It's not a connection problem.

After returning to 6.8.0-53, no cracking or popping noises can be
  heard.

  System info 6.8.0-53: https://termbin.com/yxxz
