Public bug reported:
As described in #2092649, it is not possible to enter passphrase for
encrypted disk on splash screen after boot since kernel -48, same
problem persists with all versions since then, also -53.
I tried ubuntu-bug linux but get a failure after typing several times my
password for dmesg etc although I installed the package that was needed.
Maybe someone else with the same problem can provide more info, I don't
know how to do it, I'm still not into terminal command things and a big
fan of gui.
cat /proc/version_signature: Ubuntu 6.8.0-48.48-generic 6.8.12
(It's -48 as I can't login with newer kernels)
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
