Just in case anyone else stumbled over this issue, I tried the following command "sudo apt-get install linux-signatures- nvidia-6.11.0-1012-lowlatency" which downloaded the missing file and after a refresh of the updates in Discover, everything updated OK.

No problem with the current operation of my computer Seems something is amiss.
