Bug description:
For the DGX Spark product, the embedded controller (EC) communication
happens through a new protocol. This protocol internally uses ARM FFA
and FFH.
The spec for this protocol is still in draft stage and the documentation for
it is available in
https://github.com/OpenDevicePartnership/documentation/blob/main/bookshelf/Shelf%204%20Specifications/EC%20Interface/src/README.md
https://github.com/OpenDevicePartnership/documentation/blob/main/bookshelf/Shelf%204%20Specifications/EC%20Interface/src/secure-
ec-services-overview.md
To unblock the DGX Spark, these patches add a custom downstream driver
for EC secure services with ARM FFA. This driver won’t be upstreamed
in mainline linux kernel in the current format. Once the final spec is
released, then the upstream driver can be written accordingly.
Note: The above spec is in draft stage, so we will update the driver
as spec evolves.
