When reallocation fails, the kernel does not restore the original BIOS-assigned resources, and the system does not function correctly. Would it be possible to turn off kernel config option CONFIG_PCI_REALLOC_ENABLE_AUTO? That option should only be helpful on systems with BIOS that don't fully configure PCI devices, and it is breaking systems that are configured correctly. Other enterprise distros (RHEL, SLES) seem to have this disabled by default. I can provide kernel logs or more details if needed.
