meun5, testing http://releases.ubuntu.com/12.04/ would be the equivalent to testing Saucy kernel, which is too recent of a kernel test. Hence, for regression testing purposes, could you please test http://old- releases.ubuntu.com/releases/12.04.0/ and advise to the results?

It says "Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode 0x00000009. It also happens when I try any of the other installation screen options. Do to me not being able to access terminal i could not get all of the console information. It is running on 512 MB of ram, an Athlon XP 2800+ 32 bit processor, and a Western Digital WD1600 hard drive. If anyone knows what this is and how I can fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.
