Public bug reported: Same bug as described in: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1306621
Sometimes, the system will appear to go to sleep mode (i.e. the LEDs will start indicating sleep mode). However, it appears to not suspend completely and the system produces a lot of heat while it is in this state which is rather dangerous if you put it in your sleeve and leave it there the system will overheat quickly. The problem exists both with the default Ubuntu and the mainline 3.14 kernel.
