When I ran dmesg on a console I saw there had been a bunch of storage errors from scsi and the filesystem. The cards I used were a SanDisk Ultra 32GB HC I microSD card and a Lexar Professional 32GB SDHC class 10 card. Both were very slow to read from. I did not try to write to either of them.
