Once or twice a day, upon opening the lid I am presented with a black screen and I am unable to wake the machine. The only solution is to force the laptop to shutdown by holding down the power button. On the one occasion the machine did wake (random key presses) it was unusable...the mouse was so slow I was unable to use it to reboot the machine. I have tried permanently disabling suspend and hibernate with hacks found on forums but nothing has worked.
