sorry if my post wasn't detailed, but essentially: - the hw is an HP ML110 G7 with USB keyboard - the iso is the daily current Ubuntu server 64 bit - when you get to the language page, the keyboard stops reacting and all you can do is power off the machine. - ALL usb ports were tried, being those USB2 or USB3
I think that this is the same issue as described above, and I would like to add that Ubuntu server 12.04 LTS was previously installed without a problem, using the very same keyboard. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244176 Title: Server 13.10 Install Fails with USB Keyboard (Appears to Hang) Status in “initramfs-tools” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “initramfs-tools” source package in Saucy: Invalid Status in “linux” source package in Saucy: Fix Released Status in “initramfs-tools” source package in Trusty: Invalid Status in “linux” source package in Trusty: Fix Released Bug description: A fresh install of Server 13.10 on old hardware fails when a USB keyboard is present.
