Hi all, I was using XUbuntu 14.04 on my Inspiron 13z (or 1370) which was working well with the Casif (or Carsten) solution. For some reason, I had to change my linux to Linux Mint 17. But, the brightness problem came back! and the Casif solution didn't work. Did anyone have any solution to solve it? Is it better to use Nvidia drivers or the Xorg drivers?
