I have a possibly related problem. The headset worked fine on 13.10 but now simply disconnects after a few seconds on 14.04.

I get a ton of lines like Dec 1 04:09:51 localhost kernel: [ 264.372205] hci_scodata_packet: hci0 SCO packet for unknown connection handle 65261 in syslog. The bluetooth connection also usually breaks down about 10 seconds into a Skype call. I cannot know if the two phenomena are actually related.
