Seth: I've been running the kernel patch you provided in comment #35 for the last 2 weeks and I have not been able to see any kernel panics or debug outputs in dmesg, syslog, or the kernel log .

Whenever I install haproxy and nginx on the same server, after hitting it for a while, a kernel panic is caused. However, the kernel panic does not show up in ubuntu 12.04.
