Title:
Huawei E353 not detected with Ubuntu 14.04 or 14.10

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I put Huawei E353 Mobile Broadband to USB, it started flash as it
should be.. but then nothing else didn't happened.

  I've checked output from lsusb:

ID 12d1:14fe Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

There is not "Enable Mobile Broadband" option on default network
applet, and I cannot do new Mobile Broadband connection.

Tested with Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10 (This also happen with Linux mint
  16 and 17)

I used 64 bit OS version, is there problem with that?
