Title: [Acer Travelmate B115-M] cursor jumps when clicking on touchpad keys Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I am running Ubuntu 14.04 x64 on my Acer Travelmate B115-M and sometimes when i use the left or right touchpad key to make a mouse click, the cursor jumps to another place on the screen far away from its inital location and executes the click at that location. For example: I want to perform a left click in the upper section of my screen with the touchpad key to open a browser tab What is expected to happen: I move the cursor to the browser tab and press the left key and the tab opens What happens instead: The cursor jumps to the lower left corner and performs the click there, the trash folder opens instead That problem is not always happening and i do not know how to produce it, however usually after a few minutes of working on my notebook and clicking around it will occur. Likely not a hardware problem as i already had the whole notebook replaced by my vendor, also with Win7 it seemed to work fine.
