Status in linux-firmware package in Ubuntu:

Status in linux-meta-lts-trusty package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I'm running the linux-generic-lts-saucy stack with no problem, but
when I upgrade to linux-generic-lts-trusty on my 12.04 machine, I get
this warning and had to revert back to the saucy stack:
W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/rtl_nic/rtl8168g-3.fw for module
r8169
W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/rtl_nic/rtl8168g-2.fw for module
r8169
W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/rtl_nic/rtl8106e-2.fw for module
r8169
W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/rtl_nic/rtl8106e-1.fw for module
r8169
W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/rtl_nic/rtl8411-2.fw for module
r8169
I'm not sure if this has been fixed in a newer version of the kernel,
but I wanted to put that out there.
