Public bug reported:

We now have an official way to prevent hv_vss_daemon from deamonising by
default, the new -n flag mirrors the hack we have been carrying for some
time. We need to work out how to migrate to this new form whilst
maintaining backwards compatibility.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Medium
     Assignee: Andy Whitcroft (apw)
         Status: Triaged
