Last time I tried it, poudriere crashed i386 systems due to memory

Does this mean we won't have i386 binaries?

I don't think it's impossible to produce i386 binaries, but it could
take a significant effort and not be possible in this timeframe.

I'm not sure why ftigeot is having issues on i386. I can build all of them on my i386 without issue in a single run (4600M ram, 56G swapcache). For me, i386 works fast and I don't have memory exhaustion even with 4 slaves.

Dedicated build machines with good network connectivity are needed for
dports
packages. Uploading a complete set takes me about one week...

Will a April 13-14th release target not work with this?

I don't see why not.
