I am assuming you are talking about the i386 build.

At one point, it did.  However, as I reported yesterday, I was unsuccessful in
getting the i386 build to even believe that my P5 supported the CPUID
instruction (it does, and that's the same box that the code was written/debugged
upon).  Thus, I am afraid I can't take a good hard look at this problem until
Thursday.  If anybody else either sees or (dare I hope?) solves Thomas' problem
and/or mine, please be so kind as to let us/me know.
