yo Group,

I wrote to the group last week because I had trouble building JJOS;
Avery J. Regier gave me the tip to do the checkout under Linux onto
a ext2fs partition instead of using jcvs/windows NT4.0 onto FAT;
the build worked fine (THANX Avery/J./Regier (choose your first name:-))
maybe this problem could be added to a JJOS FAQ on the website (is there
something like that?);

but jjos didnt start; the Readme says that running build (or running
make in /JJOS/arch/host/nativecode ) would start jjos;
so I thought, lets do yourself; I went to the /JJOS/arch/host/nativecode
dir and copied the file HelloWorld.class (guess what that does 8-) )to this
dir, and then did this:

[root@localhost nativecode]# jjos HelloWorld

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
[root@localhost nativecode]#

I tried a couple of other things (like going to the /JJOS/common/bytecode
dir and starting "jjos init" (the path to jjos
was in the $PATH) but it only did the same thing as with the
HelloWorld.class;

also: the HelloWorld.class works with java, the Classpath is correct
to;

I checked JJOS out on September 23. 1999 (Thursday);

What could be the trouble with that?
hope someone might help me here,
THANX in advance
