Thank you to the folks who have replied. I re-downloaded (via NetScape and Linux, this time) the pre-alpha files, but I am getting a similar error. This time, it's line 12 with the missing separator instead of line 17. I cannot find the CVS instructions on how to pull the source directly via CVS. Could someone please point me to that info on the web site and/or tell me where to go? Also, is this bootable? I have an old 486SX laptop i would like to convert to running 100% JOS if possible.
