My JOS machine has an empty 500MB hard drive. It is a IBM PC compatible
with 32MB RAM and a network card.
I have heard that jJOS (or decaf?) can "boot" from within Linux. I haven't
tried that yet. I have heard that jJOS/decaf can "boot" from a floppy,
across the network, with Etherboot. I have heard that jJOS/decaf can "boot"
from a master boot record of a hard drive with GRUB or its equivalent.
Here is my question: It is possible to boot jJOS/decaf from LILO, the Linux
loader? IF I installed Linux on my 500MB drive and replaced vmlinux boot
image with jJOS/decaf, would that work? I'm familiar with the LILO and
multiple boot on a single hard drive. I don't know much about GRUB or
Etherboot.
