I'll try and check it out this evening.
Todd, if you compile without -DNEW_INTERUPT_HANDLING, do you get the same
behaviour as Avery and Corrado? Is it different from the behaviour you get
with etherboot on the same machine?
Avery, Corrado, is the message the GC count from heapGC() in heap.c? This
reads
*** Starting gc #00000001 ***
or
*** Finished gc #00000001 ***
with count going up by one for each gc. Do you have the 1.2 branch of the
markstack.c code from CVS - this is correct (it has duff code #ifdef
NOTDEF'd out)? The 1.1.1.1 branch (by anonymous! what's going on here?)
contains old and incorrect code. Also, how much memory do your machines
have?
