I would like to bring the ERIC Project to Linux. I have all of the bytecode
working, but none of the native Linux code. ERIC is a Linux program that
calculates classpath so that you don't have to. It also uses package files
so that it is possible to distribute bytecode on demand, one package at a
time, through HTTP. Ultimately on Linux, I want to use the Invocation API
of Java Native Interface (JNI).

I have been using it exclusively on Microsoft Windows 95. Most of the
documentation I found is slanted toward Windows, not Linux.

Does anyone have sample C or C++ code I could read? Any hint would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
